Tiago Santos is a PhD student in International Studies at ISCTE-IUL and a CCCM fellowship holder. He holds a degree in Asian Studies from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon since 2020 and a Master's degree in Political Science and International Relations from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of the University Nova de Lisboa in 2022. His main area of research is China's interactions with South Asia, especially China-Pakistan relations as a hub for the expansion of the BRI, and China's role in the world order.
